I'm a real estate broker with @properties Christie's International Real Estate, working with Team Caroline Chicago. I help people buy, sell and rent homes across the city.
I'm especially drawn to architecture and design: historic homes, modernist buildings and the one-of-a-kind properties that don't fit neatly into a search filter. That interest shapes how I look at every home, including the ordinary ones. How a building was made, and how it has been cared for, tells you a lot about what it will be like to own.
How I work
Most of my clients aren't buying anything unusual. They're buying a first condo, selling a two-flat, or trying to decide whether Lakeview or Ravenswood makes more sense for the next five years.
My approach is the same either way: look closely, ask the questions people tend to skip, and give you a straight answer, even when the answer is to wait. I'd rather be the person you call with a question two years before you move than the one who shows up only at the closing table.
I also run a first-time homebuyer workshop, because the first purchase is where clear explanations make the biggest difference.
